We've all had times in our life when we had to fly with a broken wing. It's a much needed skill. God bless your sweet friend! BTW, this is my fav Martina song!!

Lookin', you are seriously making me cry today, girl. I did too. I gave him everything I ever had. I just finished writing to the lady at the court in NY handling our case and told her that if the court deems that I get nothing because I don't have the money for legal counsel (and no one in SD will represent me in a NY case) that I accept that. I also told her that I would like to make it back for the proceedings on Sept. 5 but I don't have the resources to come back so if he would like to buy me a round trip plane ticket and pay for the motel I will take time off from work, otherwise no. I didn't mention the Lord but He is my defense and strong arm of the law. I also sent the stimulus check (signed) to her. Whatever happens with that happens. I am so ready to be done with this, you know?

Learning to fly with a broken wing and not giving up - until God heals it and us - is what it's all about.
She is learning to do just that and I am so proud that even in her darkest hours - she still talks to God and calls him "Abba"
