I know it’s been a while since I have posted – but I have been so busy and life just keeps moving faster and faster. I hope you all have been happy and enjoying your life, as well.
Mr. Lookin and I went to Idaho to see if we want to move there after he retires in about 18 days. We had a wonderful trip and loved the time we spent playing with the youngest 3 of our 12 Grandchildren. Nothing is better than sharing some love with three beautiful happy children.
Another thing we have done is put our California home up for sale with the anticipation of moving to Idaho. This is not the best time for us to sale our home, but being we have paid it off – it is not really a bad time either. We will test the waters so to speak and see what happens. We love California but miss our Grand daughters more and the pull to be there with them carries more weight than our hearts can endure. – “I assume you can understand that pull of the heart strings”
Anyway, my nephew has completed all he wanted to with us and has decided to return to his Grandmother and old friends – not a good choice but it is his choice – and I just can’t say much for it – other than – I wish him well.
I just wanted to say that I now have time to get back into the “Stream” of things and wish you all a big HELLO – hope to be talking to you all soon and playing “catch-up” - Until then …
This is little ol’ Lookin sending some Love – and to assure you all - I’ve sure missed you and can’t wait for us to chat, again. God bless you all.

Happy Mother's Day Lookin'
Oh how I hate to hear that he has migrated back to your mother, like you have told me, next time just forget you knew him huh! He has already learned the *hard way* and if he didn't get *it* with all that you guys gave him he probably never will as sad as that sounds.
Call me, I can and will fill you in on things, don't want to say much on here.
Love you and glad to see you are back!
Hugs,
Reba
Your life sounds so neat, and I envy you moving closer to grandgirls, and I CANNOT beleive you have that many grandchildren.......You are sooo young lookin!!!
Take care, and I'll be back as soon as I can. Thanks for coming back, we NEED you!!! Heide
Because of prop 6 (I think that is the number), your property taxes have been frozen for years. If you ever move back to CA, you will be assaulted by the higher taxes you will pay on the new property. I know some retirees who decided not to sell and relocate because if they do they know they are saying goodbye to CA FOREVER. so check out your options.

You might be back in California after spending a winter in Idaho.
In winter, temperatures in western Idaho are generally higher than those in eastern Idaho. Average January temperatures in southern Idaho range from -2° C (29° F) at Boise to about -8° C (about 18° F) at the eastern end of the Snake River Plain. In the mountains of the southeast, near Yellowstone National Park, the January average is only about -11° C (about 12° F). Temperatures of extreme cold rarely occur in Idaho because the high mountains along the eastern border protect the state from the icy blasts of Arctic air that frequently bring bitterly cold weather to the lands east of the Rockies.
Happy Mother's Day and Grandmother's Day too!
Hugggggggggggggggz,
Taylor
Yes - You are so correct on the not so good with Grandma - but - sometimes "comfort" is not so good - and in his case - it is life threating - but maybe he still has not got what "success" means in his life - you think?
I sure liked talking to you and as often as not - not much changes - right girlfriend? - Take care sweet lady - God bless
You are a doll - and I missed you too! - My life is special - and I am blessed that it is filled with lots of love and those 3 little girls are a big part of it - this old Gramma is a sucker for their smiles and hugs and kisses.
I see them and just melt - could you figure that out - I mean - where they are is where I want to be -
I believe you are speaking of prop 13 where the tax ratio is 1 percent of the buying cost of the house. Yes each time you buy you are reassesed - so it can get costly.
We have checked into all this for the past 4 years and are pretty covered, but I do know of people who rushed their decision and were burnt. Thanks for thinking of me and the concern - but I am looking forward to leaving California - it has been well thought out - don't ya know! God bless
Actually - it was quite a relief signal that we had done all we could do and he decided to go - and God released us from his life. I think that because he will be in a month 21 - all will be in his hand now.
Big strides were taken and I just hope they will help him in the future.
Happy Mother's Day to you also - and God bless you and yours. I love ya my sweet adopted daughter
You are so right with the changing weather in Idaho - luckily for us we are locating to the Boise area and it is mild in comparison to the rest of that state. I have friend in Northern Idaho and they get buried in snow - Yikes - and that is not for us - that is for sure.
I will miss California weather but not their taxes, gas prices, cost of living, and the lack of the english language - all are ridiculously obsolete - if you know what I mean.
I want to live in a State that "choose #1 for English" is NOT an option!
Ditto on the Happy Mother's Day wish - and I love the GrandMother part of that comment - It has been a great day - and I hope you enjoyed it also.
Thanks for the welcome back - I have missed you, among others -
Oh ... sounds like an exciting change in ur life's time is looming near, dear and clear! A great place to ride a bike...That's what I know about Idaho...
Heartprints
Whatever our hands touch
We leave fingerprints,
On walls, on furniture,
On doorknobs, dishes, books,
As we touch we leave our identity.
Oh please where ever I go today,
Help me leave heartprints,
Heartprints of compassion
Of understanding and love.
Heartprints of kindness
And genuine concern.
May my heart touch a lonely neighbor
Or a runaway daughter,
Or an anxious mother,
Or perhaps a dear friend.
I shall go out today
To leave heartprints,
And if someone should say
"I felt your touch,"
May that one sense be...
YOUR LOVE
Touching...through ME.
