Aloha,

 

I am back from Hawaii and I had a ball – we all had a ball.  Life is good – God is great and I am enjoying both.

 

I just want to say an official good-bye to all my friends (You know who you are) and for over 2 years I have been blessed to share my life with each of you.  Some times were sad – but most were uplifting – I thank each of you for the times we have had together.

 

I will be around every now and then, not often – but some time when you least expect it (laughing)  -- I am officially closing my blog and I will not be posting anymore, as of April 1st. 2008

 

April Fools Day seemed a most appropriate day for some of the characters I have met while blogging.   – “Just kidding” because the “fools” don’t even know they are “fools” – (again laughing out loud)   ---  Anyway – for those that I have fallen in love with and shared a friendship  – You know I love you and for those who don’t think I do – YOU ARE SO RIGHT  - - (now I am falling off my chair laughing).  Life is to good to be so serious and fight and argue with some computer person who may or may not be who they say they are – (again laughing out loud at that thought) 

 

 Humor me – I think that is so funny – that some PEOPLE are so self-righteous and brave to yell at people – while they pretend to be something that they are not! – (I am still laughing – and the stupidity of it all) – blogging people who are so unreal that you only know their “fake names” – NOW TELL ME THAT ISN’T FUNNY – cause it is – You yell and scream at “FAKE PEOPLE” -    Wake up – get smarter  – real life is NOT on a COMPUTER – this is not a dress rehearsal – be kinder – if you are going to “fake” anything – FAKE KINDESS.

 

“Wake up people” – don’t take this computer game called  “blogging” anymore seriously than it is – and it is not real – (repeat after me)  “It is not real” – 

 

It is a fake identity – for the use of ego building – “simple as that” – Enjoy it and stop raggin’ on people – God is watching and even He is laughing  and shocked at our stupidity, arrogance and self-righteous behavior.  (Now I am peeing my britches – crying with tears of laughter) -

 

So good-bye my friends – Have a wonderful life – I will peek in every now and then but in the meantime I want to enjoy every moment I can with my wonderful hubby.  Praise God for all HE has blessed us with and especially for the LOVE we have shared and will continue to share. 

 

I will be LOOKIN’ for some beautiful sunsets and sunrises --  God willing I will share them all with a wonderful hubby and a good bottle of wine for a long time and I hope to be seeing some of you too!    Happy trails -

We are off to Maui, - I will take pictures and see you all back here after the 26^th of March –

 

We (my family) are going to celebrate our 25^th Wedding Anniversary there – it was this past Valentines Day – but March was set as a meeting date that all of us could make.

 

I can’t wait – for the fun to begin – God bless you with as much joy as I anticipate having!   Wheeeeee!

It’s been a bit since I posted anything but I just couldn’t pass up the fact that today was a great day. 

 

We went over to the coast and had a ball walking down Avila beach.  The weather was perfect.  The ocean was cold but inviting and the bikini’s and even the surfers were out "en mass".

 

Just wanted you all to know that Dustin is doing fine (my nephew who has just moved in with us) and we are all making up for lost times.  God is so good and we are filled to the brim with blessings.

 

Here is a picture of us taken just the other day.  I am so enjoying him being here and I hope you can see the “love” that we are sharing.

This is a quick update on my nephew Dustin’s progress and how he is adjusting to life in the “freedom” lane.

 

As most of you know, Dustin, age 20, spent the past year and a half in prison.  Being a juvenile and homeless, on the streets of Las Vegas made crime a part of his everyday life.  When you become 18 – JOY RIDING & DRUGS – Becomes – Felony Car Theft  & Prison- so explains the stiff sentence.

 

Now with his Mother, my Sister, being murdered last year on the streets of Vegas – you can imagine the depth of hopelessness this young man has suffered.  That is where this Aunt and Uncle have stepped in again to say – “We love you and want to give you that hope of success… Do you want to give it a try?”   So for the past year and a half we have been writing letters, some 2 or 3 a week and explaining what We and God expects out of him IF he is to change and step up a level to reach his potential. 

 

He has been here now almost 2 weeks and things are going pretty good.  There have been many things and rules that he has had to adjust to but he is adjusting.  Just being out of a cell has actually made him very nerves and off balance, so to speak.  But I have seen in the past few days a ‘peaceful’ spirit emerge – Praise God.

 

I am asking all of you to just continue to keep us in prayer – we have another court date on the 7^th of March to finalize all legal matters.  We expect a good outcome and then – it on to a better life for Dustin.  We, (hubby and I) and Dustin are making some big adjustments – but two things we have in our corner and on our sides are God and Love.

 

May God continue to bless us all and show everyone that LOVE CAN BRING US TOGETHER – Always.  

I am running like a chicken with it’s head cut off – I am alive – I think.  I have lost 14 more pounds – but that could be that head I lost…   I am trying to stay positive with my new job – “Mothering” my nephew.
