What's The Book of Mormon Deception?

These are Cardinal Doctrines of the Mormon/LDS Church, yet are not found in The Book of Mormon.

1.       God has a body of flesh and bones.

2.      God is an exalted man.

3.      God is a product of eternal progression.

4.      Men can become gods.

5.      There is no eternal hell and punishment.

6.      Pre-existing spirits of men.

7.      Marriage for eternity.

8.      Polygamy is acceptable to God.

9.      Three degrees of glory.

10.  A Mother in heaven.

11.    New Testament era “Melchizedek priesthood” with offices of Elder, Seventy, and High Priest.

12.  New Testament era “Aaronic priesthood” with offices of Deacon, Teacher, and Priest.

13.  Church organization with Stakes and Wards, a First Presidency and President of the church, Stake Presidents, Bishoprics, etc.

14.  Baptism for the dead; second chance for salvation.

They knock on the door and give you The Book of Mormon to read and to pray about – but they don't tell you that the above things are NOT in that book, but are fundamental to the LDS/Mormon church belief system.     Why not... because you are not to know yet...

It’s a secret…

God is Still Talking - Are You Listening?

Through Jesus Christ we “all” have the ability to speak directly to God and to receive open revelations from God.  We have God’s instructions and the rules we are to live by within a book that was written for us.  It is called the Holy Bible.   The Bible stands on its own as the most examined and correct book ever written.   The Bible has been proven accurate and true through its many multitudes of artifacts found, names of places, dates of people known throughout history and with no inconsistency within its original writings.  It also answers all questions in life and it comes with directions written plainly, and it more importantly can inspire through the Holy Spirit the ability to "Save Souls."

This Book called The Living Bible needs no additional "New and Improved" information.  Absolutely everything is found within its pages that we would need to know to obtain its’ goal of instructional information of us.  We can get to know personally God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and our history and future by reading this book.

The fact that this Bible has been on the “best sellers” list and has inspired many movies from its’ pages is just additional factors we enjoy.  Many Universities have also used this same bible as a teaching “history” book in classes and it has been used for pinpointing archeology digs throughout the world.

I know of NO book that has more proven information with its’ pages.  Almost every time I read a chapter, even if I have read it before, something new jumps out within its words and informs me of something else that I never thought of before.  I see new insights each and every time I read it.  Even favorite passages that I know by heart take on a different meaning based on the day I read them and what I needed for insight that day.  That is why I believe and it is said, that this “living Bible” continues to speak to us and we need nothing additional from anyone.  God is still talking within its pages.

Have you given it a chance to “talk” to you?   It will, it will.

The Golden Rule - Do We Get It?

The Universality of the Golden Rule in the World Religions

ChristianityAll things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.       Matthew 7:1

ConfucianismDo not do to others what you would not like yourself. Then there will be no resentment against you, either in the family or in the state.       Analects 12:2

Buddhism Hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful.  Udana-Varga 5,1

Hinduism - This is the sum of duty; do naught onto others what you would not have them do unto you.       Mahabharata 5,1517

Islam - No one of you is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself.       Sunnah

Judaism - What is hateful to you, do not do to your fellowman. This is the entire Law; all the rest is commentary.       Talmud, Shabbat 3id

Taoism - Regard your neighbor’s gain as your gain, and your neighbor’s loss as your own loss.       Tai Shang Kan Yin P’ien

Zoroastrianism - That nature alone is good which refrains from doing another whatsoever is not good for itself.       Dadisten-I-dinik, 94,5

It appears every religion or belief system in some way or another believes in the “Golden Rule”  - so I ask you –

WHY DO WE HAVE A PROBLEM?

“Treat people like you want to be treated” – So -

                        Why don’t we?

Do You Have a Reservation for Eternity?

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”      *Matthew 7:21

What does that verse mean to you?  How much liberty do you take with what Jesus said?  Do you make it fit your individual purpose or religion?

Some do and some even change what the Lord Jesus has said to fit their transcripts and teachings.  I believe these persons are risking the heaven that is talked about in this verse.

We are all eternal spirits and we all go somewhere when we die – eternally.

“In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.                                  *John 14: 2

How about you have you reserved your room or are you still working on your eternal destination?

Got Jesus?

 Are You Always Right?

When you’re “Right” that’s all you get to be.
