To dream the impossible dream

“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?  Even sinners love those who love them.  And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you?  Even sinners do that…  But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back.  Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.”

That kind of says it all - don't you think?

There is often talk here on the “stream” about who is real and who is fake.  Whose stories are real and whose stories are for their own entertainment.  And I must admit in the 2 ½ years I have been around these waters, I have often wondered the same thing.

I have observed something that often happens and that is people divide and take sides over things that are happening among the member of this “stream”.   Not only do they take sides, but, some awful and mean fights take place back and forth on the blog sights.

I know – I must sadly admit – I have been in a few – but as I say “sadly” admit – because I am sorry I slipped to that level or “lack of intelligence” to argue with an OPINION.

You see – I have come to the realization that people are allowed to disagree with me.  Now I must admit that the ones who agree with me – I consider more intelligent than the others, but that’s just my ego talking.  Still – they have a right to freely choose their path of thought and I know that, deep down inside.

I have noticed that there is a particular gentleman by the name of “Whit” over at - (Whit's Whittlings) that has obviously learned this lesson in life.  I know because I see Whit commenting almost everywhere.  Never mean – sometimes very brief – but being a gentleman to everyone.  WHAT A CONCEPT AND EXAMPLE!

So I think I will follow the “high road” in life – (I am feeling happy and loved and I want to share that feeling)  - I want to show that to my fellow bloggers here on the “Stream”.  I have decided that - If I decide to comment on something – it’s because the posting created interest in me at that moment.  If I pass and choose not to comment, well, that is my choice for that moment.  But I am using “Whit” as my example.  I am not going to AVOID somebody, somewhere because of anyone’s choice – but mine.  I will try very hard to treat people, as I want to be treated.  ANOTHER CONCEPT I love.
