This was is in the comics today and I thought it was great.  It was in B.C. by Johnny Hart and  B.C. is a little old cave man type guy who sits under a tree and writes on his tablet  so this is what he wrote today.

 

Everybody don’t all have a Father.

Some, there are, whose Dads have passed along.

Then there’s some who couldn’t give less bother,

To family situations woebegone,

With Dads you cannot just reach out and ‘nab’ one

To pull the Family out of it despair

But

If for some reason you don’t have one,

There’s one on duty, all the time – up there.

 

How cool is that?

It doesn’t get clearer than this although some still don’t understand.

A question was asked over at “radicaldiscipleship”  by AzRon, about believing and why we do.

 

There are many answers on why we are “wired” to believe – but evidence is beginning to show that we are actually wired to believe.  You may want to check out AzRon’s blog  (Here) and I would suggest that you do – His postings are always filled with knowledge and fun.

 

As for me this song "Believe" captures my heart.  I hope you enjoy it because I know we are wired to believe because my "creator" has made that very clear within my very soul.  Like the songs says "You can't tell me it all ends in a slow ride in a hearst."

 

 

 

My Grand daughter, Haley and I chase each other around the house to this song.  We take a “cat” like pose with our hands and began to creep towards each other and…

 

Here I come – with a smile on my face but I am going to “getcha-GETCHA-getcha” -- ONE WAY OR ANOTHER…

(UPDATE: All went perfectly and Mr. Lookin' and I are enjoying a great Ravoli dinner - Yum)

Today I am going to be busy at the hospital waiting for Mr. Lookin to have a “colonoscopy” done.  I am his ride home and support partner.  This is just part of his full exam but necessary.   I get to do this same thing the end of this month and I am so looking forward to the experience!  Especially since I have witnessed everything he is going through – Wow, how exciting!

 

I mean, come on – I get to drink a gallon of that good tasting liquid and then for at least 4 hours I get to sit and read on my private throne without interruptions – How cool is that?  OH well – today is Mr. Lookin’s turn and I am all smiles for him as he goes through today being hungry (all liquids yesterday and nothing since midnight)  but I am smiling with understanding - – really I am!
