There are days when I have wondered

 

“what if I had...”

 

Lead by love and emotions – just “what if”

 

What if I had kissed that boy - ?

 

What if I had taken that job – ?

 

What if I had married that man – ?

 

What if I had really said what I felt - ?

 

Lookin’ back - I now just laugh and say –

 

“Thank You God for protecting me  -

from myself”

(2 Cor 5:6-8). 

 

 

The question in my previous posting asked - -

 

“Is that all there is?”  - 

 

“Is that all there is my friend?”

 

My answer is,  “NO” – “That isn’t all there is.”  As you can see from the passage above there is more to come  - Even after death, more to come.

Is that all there is?

 

Is that all there is, my friend,

 

Then let’s keep dancing – let's break out the booze and have a ball,

If that’s all there is…

Indescribable

 

Father – you are above all things, You have created all things and are in control of all things.  You see the depth of my heart and You love me the same.  You are amazing God.  I humbly ask that you wash us clean with your Spirit and forgive us our trespasses.  Father nothing holds us tighter than Your grip.   I ask that even those who do not yet know You, will feel Your love and protection from all evils.  Everything is beneath You and even into the depths of darkness You are there.  To the far corners of the heavens You are there.  Nothing and no one escapes You.  We can’t hide our thoughts from You, good or bad, You are aware of everything we think even before we speak.  So, I ask that Your love and energy be washed over us and renew our spirits with Your everlasting joy.  I thank You in advance for I know that if we ask – it is done.  I am asking Father, for all of us, in Your Son Jesus’ name – Amen.
